We were on a walk the other day when we came upon an ant hill. Normally Corinne would flip out- BUG!! AH! EWW!! and so on & so forth..  But, I tried to show her how hard they were working & how cool it was. Oh boy, what did I start! :) For days she was talking about the ants to anyone who would listen. So we went to the library, got our ant books- quite interesting actually. She is now talking to us in "ant"- I love 4 year olds! We decided to make our own ant farm because of the learning experience of it. So last night we gathered our materials & set out back to that original ant hill & now the Nolte Family is a little bigger :)  Gotta give credit where credit is due, many thanks to the site where we found the instructions for making our own ant farm! http://www.education.com/activity/article/make_ant_farm_first/
